The World of the Valensi

Millennia ago, a branch of humanity evolved along a different path. The Valensi developed extended lifespans, enhanced physical capabilities, and heightened senses. No one knows exactly how or why.
They are not undead—they live, breathe, age, and die like any living creature. But their evolution came with costs: dietary requirements that include human blood, sensitivity to certain UV frequencies, and the need to live in secret. If their true presence becomes known, their future would likely be cut much shorter than expected.

Hidden Society

The Valensi exist within human society, carefully hidden yet intimately connected. They've built complex power structures that span centuries, with ancient families controlling vast resources.
